The nursery was founded as a playgroup in 1960/1 in a parent’s house; it then moved to a spare classroom of Totley All Saints School. In 1975 the PTA provided a portable building as a temporary measure. That building was used until 1999 when the caretaker’s house became available. The PTA, school and nursery parents then raised the money to convert the house into a very welcoming and homely nursery.
We are currently awaiting planning approval for a two story extension to the side of our buidling to enable us to take more children and offer a better service. This we are hoping will be in place by September 2010
